Guest Contract Supplement
1. INSURANCE - Each guest group is required to carry its own liability and primary medical insurance coverage. The guest group must provide Emmanuel Heights with a "Certificate of Insurance" before arrival.
2. FIRST AID - Each guest group must provide their own first aid person and adequate first aid kit. The minimum requirement for a first aid person is a current certificate for advanced first aid and CPR for ages to be treated. The first aid person is responsible for providing first aid and emergency care and arranges for emergency transportation when needed. ALL injuries that occur on the campground MUST be reported to Emmanuel Heights management.
3. GROUNDS FEES - Any day use/part-time guests will be subject to a $5.00 per person, per day grounds fee. Meals for part time guests are a la carte.
4. MEDICAL RELEASE FORMS - The guest group is required to submit copies of emergency medical release forms for each camper under the age of eighteen (18) authorizing emergency medical care by guest group staff and/or Emmanuel Heights staff should a life threatening injury occur while on Emmanuel Heights property.
5. SUPERVISION - Guest group leaders are responsible for adequate supervision of all members while on the grounds to ensure compliance with camp policy. Certain activities requiring supervision by trained personnel will be conducted only under the supervision of authorized Emmanuel Heights staff members or other persons specifically approved and authorized in writing by Emmanuel Heights. (Please inquire of staff for specifics) Guest groups consisting of campers under the age of 18, will provide adult supervisors at a ratio of one adult (age 18 or over) per seven campers. Under no circumstances will adult supervisors be of different gender than the gender of their cabin group.
6. PROMOTIONAL MATERIAL - It is understood that video taping, still photography and sound recording may be in progress while at camp and that from time to time guests may appear in promotional materials produced thereby. Such materials will be used for promotional purposes only and not for sale or any other commercial purposes.
7. BOUNDARY LIMITS - Due to the importance of maintaining good relations with neighboring properties, it is imperative that all guests remain on camp property or leave by way of the public access. Speed limit of 15 MPH from O'Donovan Road to and throughout the camp property MUST be observed. Please park vehicles in designated parking areas.
8. EXCLUSIVE USE - Exclusive use of Emmanuel Heights facilities will require a minimum of sixty (60) guests. Please inquire for specifics.
9. RECREATION - Our recreation facilities will be shared by all groups on the grounds. Reservations can be arranged for stated times. Lifeguards provided by your group must have a current American Red Cross Lifeguard Training certificate and CPR certificate appropriate for the ages to be guarded. These certificates to be filed with the camp office.
10. NOISE LEVEL - After 10:00 p.m. the noise level of guest activities must be reduced so that noise cannot be heard outside the group's assigned meeting areas. Please observe the 11:00 p.m. quiet hour.
11. DAMAGE OR LOSS - Emmanuel Heights is not responsible for damage or loss which may occur to vehicles in parking areas or valuables left on the premises. Lost and found items will be kept thirty (30) days only.
12. PROHIBITED - The following are prohibited on Emmanuel Heights property: pets, alcoholic beverages, firearms, fireworks, 2-way radios, motorized trail vehicles, immoral conduct, illegal drugs, gambling, amplified music (i.e. radios, boom boxes, etc…), cooking appliances, dancing and immodest swimwear. Swimwear is for the pool area only. It is understood that Emmanuel Heights management has the authority to grant exceptions to any of the above mentioned. People who must smoke should do so ONLY in their car so that the ashes may be disposed of in metal ash trays. Extreme caution must be taken at all times due to fire danger.
13. The "Contract Supplement" is considered part of the terms and conditions of this contract.
